From The View Of The Onlooker- Seasons

(Original Date Posted- 1st December 2009)

Greetings my obsessive followers that I call my dicipl- I mean fans (Same joke again FTW), lets bring in the month with the seventh entry. However, before I do, let me listen to your annoying little problems that have no effect on my life, but make you love me even more :D

Louisa Hillman- If I can be honest, I was trying to be a little funnier then the entry before. But honestly I don’t think that’s the case. Im not one to be sexist, but the console wars is a bit of a masculine topic (and admittedly it was kinda short), so it may have been boring to you fangirls. However I thought I owed everyone a masculine topic, so that’s why I did it.

Anyway, this reply went on way too long. Just enjoy my future ones

And Shellys comment wont have a reply cos’ she didn’t make it. Or Im just lazy.

Abby Lever- You kinda obsessed over my pudding offer, didn’t you. Its okay, I guess everyone has their own tastes, so it really doesn’t matter. If I can incorporate it into a bigger topic, then I’ll cover your suggestion on sweet foods.

And on the plus side, you seem to be mentioning RP less. Good, soon, I shall be your god.

I just need more followers, that’s all. Spread my glory around! I COMMAND YOU

Anyway, lets get to the main issue, something that starts off small, but unexpectedly becomes a nuisance in later life

(Hey kids, I drew the pic. Yep, this Blog is getting fancier :D)

Okay, so Im gonna talk about the seasons, and yeah, Im aware that this is a pretty boring topic, but hell, has their not been a time in your life where the seasons and there accompanying weather haven’t P***ed you off.

I mean, you can have preferences on what you like, but with every one of them, you can easily put bullet-sized holes of problems within. Like-

Summer’s too hot

Winter’s too cold

And spring and autumn can’t decide which they are

It’s just…insane. It rules your damn life, and drives you insane. Plus it’s a waste of money. Think of all the times you spent money on scarves, sun lotion, coats, sandals and all that stuff. While Im obviously aware their necessities if you want to get through those godforsaken months, it’s kinda depressing. You’ll find yourself buying all those wares over and over again, all the same for about the rest of your life, until you eventually you just get a pillow, and scream like a jet plane into it. And that’s all because of those damn seasons.

The only fortune you get is that you don’t really get that serious about it until your 40’s or so, at least giving you enough time to enjoy those special moments as young people. But that’s it. That’s probably one of the only reasonable fortunes you’ll get, and after that…well I don’t need to go over it again.

I imagine that it’s probably even worse in countries that pride themselves on certain weather characteristics, like Britain with its rain, and…Brazil with its sun. Seeing as everyone reading this blog is probably from England, you know what I mean. It’s the media’s fault. Specifically with news channels and their weather sections. You’ll probably hear a parent or grandparent say something about ‘how the weather was wrong’, and anybody who actually has a brain cell (Besides me and you lot, because my blog warns that brain cells will be lost. Sorry, it’s like a design problem) can tell that because of this, it adds to the general publics angst.

In a nutshell, the media is using Britain’s cr***y weather as an excuse to torture its native people. That just tears me up inside. Enough to make me launch a

RANDOM SPAZ OUT ANGER ATTACK!

jknfgnjfldnsjgklrtfjlpssijjv,esbfkgvug hngd;sazcmrbhjtgnsilrevcjnhtrbldsmri

Phew, okay, I think Im done…..damn

Anyway, it you survived that, then comment below on what you thought of this entry, and post some ideas of what you want me to do in the future. Only that will make a good Blogger (Yeah, all that self-confidence stuff is a lie).

Anyway, this month will have themed entries, so think about stuff to do with December, and it’s likely I will talk about it.

Plus, we all know what Im obviously gonna write about this…25th (hint hint)

Before I end however, I’d like to make a special mention. One about a man, that I admit I hardly knew, John Marsh. We went to the same primary school, and we were even in the same year. We hardly ever interacted, but admittedly, we shared little in common, so that would be expected. I never even thought about him, but that all changed at the 21st November. He was stabbed repeatedly at night in St Helens, and despite the efforts of paramedics who had arrived slightly later, he died due to the wounds. A 44-year-old woman and 17-year-old man have been brought in for questioning (However, I think they actually have been convicted).

Even though I wish, we all wish, we could have warned him someway, their would have never been a chance. He didn’t deserve to die at the hands of such despicable people, no one ever does, and truly Iam sad at his passing. I regret I could have never been on better terms with him, but I think realistically, that wouldn’t have happened. I, for one, never expected anyone I somewhat knew to die, but now that it has happened, I feel I have deepened tuning with reality. I now know that this stuff is real, and it must stop.

But for now, we must mourn his passing. John Marsh, you will not be forgotten. You will be remembered by me, my year group, and every person you ever interacted with. You were a good man, and for that, you have my respect.

RIP John Marsh

From The View Of The Onlooker- The Console Wars

(Original Date Posted- 18th November 2009)

Bonjour my (presumably) not-at-all French fans, heres the Sixth instalment. But…well, you know the drill

Abby Lever- Yeah, just cos’ I consider myself the King Smurf now, doesn’t mean it’ll be my logo. In fact, I’ve tried to make a logo, but due to the failure that is the computer Im using, I just cant make a good one. However, once I get a Laptop at Christmas, then you’ll see some results.

I’ll definitely do some Film reviews in the future, but I think I need to reach a certain point before I do that

Louisa Hillman- Glad you agree, it is just a lie created by Disney or some College/university peoplez. However, Im not quite ready to withdraw my point yet on the film, I’ll need some full on evidence. Maybe I’ll watch it on the internet someday ( Technology is my *****)

Todd Webb- Hmm, Im not quite sure I want to be known as the Onlooker. Maybe I’ll develop a title in the future, but if not, just call me The Onlooker anyway

Like I’ve said, I’ll do some reviews in the future. I promise… or maybe I don’t. Maybe I’ll just close this blog and go on a mass-murdering spree.

Hah, now you don’t know where Im coming from

But now I don’t!?! Curse you Todd!

Anyway, now we’ve got that out of the way, lets get onto the main topic, a topic which is fair to say has been mauled by so many people over the years, that it makes my opinion virtually worthless

(Girls, you may just wanna skip to the end right now)

Anyway, for those of you still reading, you may be aware that the console wars have existed since approximately the early 80’s. Its taken many forms, like-

Wii vs Ps3 vs Xbox 360

Or something more obscure, like-

SNES vs Sega genesis vs (I guess you can say the Atari Jaguar)

You see what I mean, its pretty old. And it won’t end until one Video game company eventually claims domination of the market (My hopes ride with Nintendo).

But its also quite fun, why, because if you’ve seen the things fans (Or _____ nazis if you’re an extremist) have done over the years, and view it as a, say, Onlooker, its quite hilarious and stupid.

Take a Look at this video for me (Or don’t if you have issues with other women)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x7PhJp3ciRQ

Now if you’re a Fanboy/Fangirl of a certain company, I want you to view it again, this time switching off your crazy obsession.

Now you know what angle Im getting at, its just…wow. Completely unreasonable. And the thing is, that this thing would cause a wildfire if you introduced it on some forums. Spam attacks would happen if action wasn’t taken, and really, it would just make fans have more enemies.

Now Im not saying its wrong to support a company, I in fact support that claim, but if your going to go totally alpha over it, and say stuff like-

‘Ugh, Ps3 sucks because blah blah **** blah’

Then you better get a life, and quick.

But a definite fact I want to bring up is that I’ve noticed that some of this animosity is lost if you get the console you hate and actually play it. You stop hating the console completely (well you still may dislike it), and you then start focusing on hating other consoles you don’t have. So maybe the wars have started as a result of people being too poor (Or stupid) to afford the other consoles of their time, and thus they use their anger as a reason to say it sucks.

If you have all three current next-gen consoles, I want you to reply to this and tell me if you still hate a certain one, because Im really quite interested as to your opinion.

Anyway, the likelihood is that I’ll make a sequel to this entry in the future in more depth, because I’ll finish off about here. As I have now implanted into your brains, tell me your criticism and opinion on this entry, Im open to both.

What, do still want me to brag on. No, you’ve had your amount for now. Get off the Internet, and go have some tasty pudding. Seriously peoplez, time heals some wounds, but pudding heals all, and then some.

From The View Of The Onlooker- 2012

(Original Date Posted- 9th November 2009)

Sup my loyal minio…uh I mean fans, here’s the Fifth entry. But lets speed through the comments first-

Louisa Hillman- Lol, this is quite ironic, seeing as Im doing your suggestion right now (that sounded wrong). But don’t worry, as I swear that Ill get to all the ideas suggested by my fans, but bearing in mind, they have to be within my boundaries (which means the awesomeness that is ‘squares’, cannot be talked about).

Shelly Hayes- Okay, this last entry may have been a little ‘in-my-own-world’, but like I say, I’ll bear your suggestions in mind

Abby Lever- I wont ever ignore my fans, seriously. If I did, then I wouldn’t bother asking for ideas. Besides, you’re my friend.

I’ll probably do something about TJ and TE in the future, but, and don’t take this the wrong way, it’s not really something Im enthusiastic about about. But, you know me, I don’t come up with stable ideas very quickly, so I’ll most likely do it in the future.

Todd Webb- Im not as bad as an Obsessive Twilight fan…Im worse (Cackles insanely). However, I don’t exactly get your comment about talking about other peoplez interest though…I DEMAND EXPLANATION

Now lets start with the Fifth entry. I got this idea from a friend of mine, Louisa, on the 5th November. I was going to do something similar to this entry, yet I really didn’t like the idea of it. And due to having no good new ideas for a while, I’ve decided to talk about

2012

Not the film, the actual year (Though the film will probably suck)

Now, I really have to make this clear…(Breaths in, and out)…okay, WE WILL NOT DIE DUE TO AN APOCALYPSE PREDICTED BY A DEAD CIVILIZATION IN 2012. Through a source that I wish not to talk about, I’ve found out that any person who has ever studied the Mayan’s in depth will obviously know that, like other calendars, when it reaches 2012, it will ‘restart’. That’s it, all that’ll happen is that it will loop in a vicious circle over and over again. So, nobody panic (Seriously, I’ve seen enough).

It’s just like Y2K, which for those of you who don’t know was the panic during the end of 1999 into the new millennium. People predicted that Airplanes will fall from the sky, and that Computers will eat people, or some prediction like that, the people who came up with it were slightly crazy to begin with.

Anyway, you get my point, I’ve over emphasized it enough. But, I can’t end like this, I haven’t really humoured the idea yet, so, for the sake of…humour, I’ll talk about my ideas if the world really were to end.

To sum it up-

I believe it would be very explosive, or at least have giant people the size of skyscrapers battling it out, destroying just about every monument we have (Or at least the important ones.) Or just like the Picture you see above, when the race of popular internet smilies decide to destroy are world, just for the sheer cause of FUN (Which I dont blame them for, I mean, there from the Internet. They need fun to survive.)

But, if I had to pick the most likely apocalyptic event to happen, it’d probably either be-

-A cataclysm in-between the Tectonic plates, spewing earthquakes, volacanoes (HOT LAVA :p), and all that stuff

-An asteroid crashing into the earth, plain and simple

But I can’t keep this up any longer, so I’ll end ‘bout here.

Please suggest your ideas and criticism to me. Doing so will make me a better Blogger, and if you think Im not reading your ideas, its probably because I already have an idea, but don’t worry, as I will try to get to every one of them, so don’t feel ‘mistreated’ or something.

BTW, just as a little snippet, here’s what Im hoping to do in the following months/years

-Convert it to a blog/vlog

-Create a catchphrase/ create a theme song

-Definitely will make a costume for the Onlooker. I imagine it’ll look ‘smart’ or ‘fancy’

-Maybe some reviews of…things

-Have a logo, I mean, c‘mon

Im intending to do major things with this Blog, with the various pieces of tech I’ll be buying after Christmas. And I’ll need your help, the fans, for creating these things, so you can also expect more involvement

From The View Of The Onlooker- Scrubs

(Original Date Posted- 1st November 2009)

Halloz FTVOTO fans, the fourth entries coming right at ya. But, like many of you are now acquainted with, I’ll talk about the comments first.

Izziebobs Hall- Nice to see/hear from you again, seeing as you weren’t in school last week (give or take). And on my blog no less. Anyways, I’d say thts harsh to Leonardo, but I couldn’t care less about him. I wont even give him a picture, THATS how much he doesn’t matter. And about the Cullen action figure. It’s my brother’s, but don’t worry, he wouldn't actually go out and buy it. It was a present from his Girlfriend, and now it is a prop for my blog.

Nah, just kidding, its really Robert Pattinson. I wont fool around any longer.

Abby Lever- 0.0 Just…wow. I knew you had OCD, but you make him out to be a god among men. WHICH HE IS NOT. If anything, I am =). Thew…got that out of my system. Order is restored.

Shelly Hayes- Doesn’t everybody? I know where you’re coming from, but…abbreviate.

Anyway, lets talk about

It is the most freaking awesome thing in the history of everything. It really is. It beats literally everything in sheer awesomeness (Awesomeness is a word, in fact Microsoft word’s not underlining it…not at all). It even beats Twilight (Suck it Twilight fans). And you know how Abby Lever suggested OCD as obsessive Cullen Disorder, well…I have –

O- Obsessive

S- Scrubs

D-Disorder

However, I must digress about the power Scrubs has over people, and actually talk about it. But Im willing to bet many of you don’t know much about it, so I’ll explain

Scrubs follows the story of Doctor John Dorian (Or J.D as he is affectionately called), through his first year as an Intern, to his eighth ‘last’ year as a professional fully trained doctor, or an attending for short. Scrubs featured an award-winning cast (That I will talk about in later parts of this entry), and was truly a great show to behold.

However, I cannot squish everything about Scrubs into one tiny entry, nor could I attempt to, so I will add many various parts to this entry that talk about the individual cast, what they did in which in each season, and what I thought about it. And do’t worry; they’ll be spaced out to give you guys and girls some space to breath within each entry, so really this entry is just the basis for more to come. For now, Ill just talk about Scrubs in general.

Some of you may be thinking that Scrubs ended in its Eighth season, well…that’s half-true. And its not a pretty story to tell. There will be a ninth season, however, it will have half the cast changed and replaced with…hybrids of some of the other cast, and it will be at Med school instead, like some sort of prequel. Bill Lawrence (The writer for Scrubs), wanted to rename it Scrubs Med, but some jerks have said other wise, so technically it will remain as Scrubs. However, to us Scrubs fans, We will now call Season’s one-eight simply as Scrubs, and Season 9-whatever as Scrubs Med, kinda like new coke and classic coke.

What do I think? Well, its been talked about by ABC (The network that broadcast Scrubs) as something incredibly great, but I don’t know about that. I will give it one chance. Just a chance. If I can’t get into like I did with the original series, then I wont even bother with it. I’ll still like Scrubs, but Season 9 and beyond will be nothing to me, I wont even acknowledge them.

But anyway, Im really rambling on here aren’t I, so I’ll just stop. Again, feel free to comment with opinions, criticism, and suggestions for new entries, because Im open to all.

AND this time round, I don’t have any ideas yet, so…first come, first serve.

From The View Of The Onlooker- Twilight Part 1.5-...Robert Pattinson

(Original Date Posted- 24th October 2009)

Sigh, I don’t really want to do this, but I promised it to my friend Abby, so…yeah, Im going to talk about…Robert Pattinson (Shudders). But before I introduce the third entry, I just want to thank all the people who like my Blog. Granted, I annoyed them to death to view it, it still makes me feel good. So, here’s the third entry.

So, a 14-year-old lad who isn’t what you can call a Twilight fan is going to talk about Robert Pattinson. This will be hard. I’ll talk about my initial opinion of the guy first.

I think he is some kind of Girl magnet, who draws women away from the men they could be going out with to fancy him hopelessly in crazy fandom. So I think he is a jerk.

There, I said it. However, now that I have said that, every Twilight Fangirl (Or Fanboy :s) that likes Edward (Cos’ I only just learned a week ago that some fans like some guy called Jacob J ) now automatically hates me. So, for the sake of not getting my ass handed to me by angry fans, I’ve got to talk about at least one good quality of him.

So I will. Im willing to bet he’s a good actor, and although I know he enjoys it, the attention he gets is probably not intended, so he is a little modest. And well, I think he’s the new Leonardo Di’Caprio. Don’t understand, we’ll I’ll tell you.

If you’ve seen at least one clip of the highest grossing film of all time, Titanic, then you’ll know he looks like a 16 year old. Now, cut to eight years later, and see Revolutionary Road (Coincidently also starring Kate Winslet), and…he literally has not changed at all, looks wise. That’s what I think will also happen to RP, in a decade or so, he won’t change. He’ll be like Dorian grey (There I go making references to films I never even watched again). So yeah, happy Twilight fans. HAPPY?!

Also, don’t think this is a Twilight blog now, because it ain’t. This is a smartarse opinion blog, and don’t forget that. In fact, Twilight has angered me, and Im pretty sure the actors now feel the same, right Pattinson

Yes peoplez, Twilight has annoyed me so MUCH, that I have turned Robert Pattinson into a action figure as revenge. So learn from him, and do not ANGER ME

As I’ll say on every entry from now on, please comment with your ideas and criticism. Im open to both, and with your help I’ll become a better Blogger each day.

BTW, I’ve already decided on my next entry, and trust me, it will have MANY parts to it throughout my Blogging career. But you’ll just have to wait till next time :)

From The View Of The Onlooker- Education

(Original Date Posted- 17th October 2009)

Sup FVTOTO fans, heres the second entry. But firstly, let me tie up some loose ends. If your wondering why both these entries are set 10 days apart (coincidently), thats because I really wont have any set dates for release of these entries. They basically come at random. And secondly, if you post comments for my blog entries, then I will try my best to respond to them, because I think it sets me apart from other Bloggers (Is that right). I may not be able to respond to every comment, so if I miss you, just repost your comment on my next entry, and Ill probably pick you.

To Abby Lever
- Im not dissing Twilight, Im just wondering why so many people cling to it like deranged maniacs. Im mean, theres fans, and then theres 'OCD' as you put it. But what am I saying, Im a deranged maniac for Scrubs. (Sigh), I guess I have much more to learn about Fandom. But either way, I have yet to get a proper opinion for Twilight, so just wait for a part 2, coming...whenever! And about that story in the Corridor...well... it was English in year 8 (I think), and I needed to write about something, and because Twilight was a up and coming fad, I decided, who cares, write about that. And next thing you know, it gets put up on the wall. Heh heh, I guess when Teachers look at me, they think Im a star pupil, and that anything I do is absurdly amazing. It's a good power to have...I guess

Now to the entry

I want to tackle three issues I have with the Governments approach to Education, the age limit, the removal of SAT's and the combinations of smaller schools.

Ill start with the Age limit. WTH is up with moving it up to 18. I mean its like people have thought 'Oh gee, College and University arn't enough, we need...uh...bigger age limits. Yeah, that'll be a great Idea to keep people in Education'

WRONG!

Moving up the age limit will not strictly keep people in education. Some people naturally have no respect for it, and will end up ruining there lives by being ignorant, and dropping out to work at some low end job. Just ignore them, and focus on the people that want the help. Im willing to bet you'll make far more progress that way.

Secondly the removal of SAT's. What will this mean on my generation. I did my Y6 SAT's, but I never did Y9 SAT's because they took them away beforehand, so does this mean I will have lower chances of getting a job, or will it be the other way around. Its basically been screwed pretty bad here. They should have just kept it the same before making these changes at random, because now, we may have unforseen circumstances happen in the future that mean a dent in the economy. I think

Lastly, the megaschools. Now the Teachers at Golborne High have really been asking my year and other years about this transition to make a new school between GH and LH (Lowton High), however, I feel that no ones been able to make a well thought over comment on it. But I guess I'll try. I think its a bad idea. Why, because in a school of around about 1500 people, I think that individuality will be lost, and thats pretty bad. Individuality is key in a good education, because that means someone at least personally cares, but with it being swept aside, well, you visualize it. Plus, for people in Golborne, it will be a really large trek to Lowton civic hall (As the new Megaschool will be built there). I guess for the amount of solutions made, an equal amount of problems are made. But either way, this new school (Or Lowborne, as you could call it) is probably best not being built.

Now that should wrap up things nicely. You know, I found writting this entry pretty boring (God, I've already became my own critic, what is the world coming to). I'll write about some more interesting for my next one, promise.

BTW, feel free to suggest something for me to talk about. Part of the problem with me writing entries is a lack of serious ideas, so I could really use some help.

From The View Of The Onlooker- Twilight

(Original Date Posted- 7th October 2009)

Hello Random peoplez reading this Blog, this is the first entry of a series of Blog entries Ill be calling 'From The View Of The Onlooker'. I know, it could be shortened, so just call it FTVOTO when needed, (Besides, its 21:40, and I've been writing a LONG essay about the Red Room. Give me a break)

Its been occurring to me recently that ALOT of people are into Twilight nowadays. Now your thinking 'well no', but I expected that much. Its just that its only now that I've actually looked into it. I mean, nearly everyone I know remotely likes it, and Im pretty sure that the rest of Britain feel the same way. How did I not get sucked into it :( , I like fads, but I digress. Its like a... virus that makes people like it. Its the new Harry Potter basically.

You may be thinking that I have a unfair opinion of it, but thats not entirely true. I'll admit that I've never seen the film...or read the book, but I have skimmed past the filler, and I know that in terms of story writing, its an enjoyable read, but how did it get this popular. Hmm, I think I should watch the film, maybe that'll give me some answers.

Expect a sequel entry in the future (or don't, whatever you do with your life)
